For years we've all heard the things men shouldn't say to women, such as "Yeah, those jeans do make you look a little chunky," and "Why didn't you tell me you had a hot friend."

We've been doing our best to behave, but it's time you knew there are a few things that won't score you any points with the man in your life. For the most part, we're an open book, but there are a few things that make us cringe.

Here's a look at 10 things women say that drive men nuts.

1) "That looks cute."
For the most part, men hate cute. We don't want to hear about it, we don't want to see it, and we sure as hell don't want to be it. If we come down stairs after getting dressed and you tell us we look cute, there's a 100 percent chance we're changing. We're supposed to be your protector, your rock, and cute does not fit into that picture.

2) "We need to talk."
These four words shut off a man's brain faster than long division. When men hear you say that they immediately go into flight mode. And anything they can do to get out of this conversation—and better yet, your apartment—they will. There are plenty of other ways to approach a delicate conversation, and getting us in a place where we feel comfortable is a good start.

3) "It's just a game."
Actually, it's not just a game. Sports are a major part of our lives and the outcome has as much to do with our mood as just about anything else. Is it fair? No. Is it right? No. Is it immature? Maybe. But it's life. Sometimes we just care too much. We understand that it doesn't make sense, but you should be happy that we're that passionate about something. Telling us that "it's just a game" is like us telling you that Oprah's just a talk show host.

4) "Nothing's wrong."
Please don't tell us nothing's wrong. The look on your face could make the toughest guy on the planet weep like a third-grade girl and your arms are crossed so tight you might explode. We're not mind readers; tell us what's going on. And don't make us guess because—believe me—you won't like what we come up with.

5) "I sound like my mom."
The mere fact that you might turn into your mom someday scares the hell out of us. Don't say it, even in jest—it's not funny. We actually believe (and pray) that the saying "every woman ends up looking like their mother" is an old wives' tale. If we didn't, no one would ever get married

6) "I just want to be friends."
No you don't. You just want us to stop calling you. This is a lot like pulling off a band-aid. Do it quick—don't prolong the agony. Most of us take "I just want to be friends" as "There's still a chance," so if there isn't just make it a clean break and move on. Everyone will be much better because of it.

7) "Size doesn't matter."
Don't lie to us. We know it does, and we're doing our best to make up for it in other ways. It's best just to not say anything at all.

8) "What are you wearing?"
We're wearing whatever's clean or whatever you tell us to. We don't plan out our wardrobe days in advance, but we do actually try and look presentable. It may not work a lot of the time, but we do give it a shot. Giving us direction is completely encouraged though, so go ahead and suggest … nicely.

9) "Do you think she's pretty?"
Of course we do, our standards are much lower than yours. But just because we check her out doesn't mean we think any less of you. We try to be as discreet as possible, but for the most part, we can't help it. It's in our DNA. When an attractive woman walks by, it's best to just pretend nothing happened.

10) "Which outfit do you like better?"
I'm going to be honest here—90 percent of the guys out there are not going to tell you which outfit they like better: They're going to try to pick the one you like better and not get into a holy war when the babysitter is due any minute. To us, you always look good. Getting a couple cocktails and spending as much time as we can without the kids is our ultimate goal for a rare night out.

Check out this article..

Getting from point A to point B by car costs a certain amount of dough, and thanks to recent record-high gas prices it takes more of your hard-earned money than ever before. But while you can’t always control ownership costs such as fuel, repairs and insurance rates, one thing you do have power over is making your car last longer and maintaining its value. Here you have a choice: Either spend money on a new car every few years or keep your current car running great and looking sharp. If you decide to go the latter route, follow these 10 tips to help keep your ride rolling.

Breathe Easier
Even the most mechanically challenged drivers know to change a car’s oil and oil filter on a regular basis — even if they don’t always do it. But other fluids and filters also need regular maintenance. For example, changing your air filter helps your car breathe easier and the engine last longer. “If your air filter is clogged, your engine is not performing properly,” notes Jack Nerad, editorial director and executive market analyst for Kelley Blue Book. “It also hurts your fuel economy, and it can harm the engine over the long term.”

Keep It Cool

Maintaining your car’s cooling system and the proper coolant level is as important as making sure the engine is well lubed and can potentially save you thousands of dollars in repairs. “A cooling system failure can result in your engine literally melting down,” warns Nerad. “Because of lack of proper coolant and maintenance of hoses, you can have major problems.”

Pressure Check

Tires are often the most neglected part of a car, Nerad adds. “Most people don’t pay much attention to keeping their tires at the right inflation pressure,” he says. “And it’s not only bad for the car, the tires and fuel economy, but it’s also a safety issue. The simple step of keeping the tires up to proper pressure is valuable all the way around,” he adds, “and it essentially costs almost nothing.”

Fully En-Gauged

If there is a problem with your oil pressure, cooling system or even tire pressure on the latest vehicles, your car’s gauges will tell you — if you’re paying attention to them. “The vast majority of people don’t,” remarks Nerad. “That’s why manufacturers went to ‘idiot lights’ to give a clear indication of when there’s a problem.”

Get Regular Checkups

Find a repair shop and mechanic you trust. “And let that shop service your car all the time,” says Dave Jones, owner of Jones Automotive in Green County, Pennsylvania, and co-host of the Web site AskAutoPro.com. “When you get sick you don’t go to a different doctor every time. Your doctor knows you from top to bottom, inside and out.” A good mechanic will get to know your car and look over it the same way, Jones adds.

Look Closely

Jones also suggests spending time inspecting your car. “Every now and then, take five minutes and walk around the car and look at it,” he said. Check to see if the tires are wearing unevenly. Open the hood and check out the hoses. Make sure all the lights are working. “It only takes a couple of minutes to check things like that,” he adds.

Get on a Schedule

While your owner’s manual will have a maintenance schedule, another advantage of using the same mechanics on a regular basis is they will be able to make sure you stick to the schedule — and take care of things the manual may not include. “If you go to different places each time you have your car serviced, they won’t know the last time you had something done,” says Aaron Clements, owner of C&C Automotive in Augusta, Georgia, and a 31-year auto-repair veteran. “So you may end up paying for unnecessary repairs. Most shops have electronic records so they know when each service was done. The scheduled maintenance charts in owner’s manuals tell only part of the story,” he adds. “So it’s also a benefit to have a relationship with a service advisor who knows your vehicle and when to perform service in addition to what’s in the owner’s manual.”

Drive Smarter

The way you drive has an effect on how long your car — and your gas — will last. “You not only save wear and tear by having good driving habits, but also fuel,” claims Clements. “Taking off fast and coming to a stop quickly can be bad on a car and affect the engine, the brakes and other things.”

Keep It Clean

Nerad also stresses taking care of the exterior of your car by regularly washing and waxing it. And don’t forget about the interior. “That’s an often overlooked area,” he says. “Spend time keeping it clean and clean-smelling without perfuming it, and vacuum the carpet on a regular basis. Get spills out immediately because if you don’t they’re more difficult to remove.”

Keep it Covered

Nerad also suggests storing your car in a garage or under a carport or cover. “Keep your car out of the sun,” he says. “And keep it away from bird droppings and tree sap. Also be careful where you park to avoid dings,” he adds.

Keeping your car maintained will not only make it last longer but also will make it much more pleasant to drive — which will make you want to take better care of it. “If you have a vehicle that looks good and you enjoy getting in it and driving, you’re much more prone to take care of it,” observes Clements.” And since it won’t last forever, taking care of your car will also increase the resale value. “It’s very clear on our site that condition is crucial,” says Nerad. “In real estate they say it’s all about location, location, location, but with car values it’s all about condition, condition, condition.”

Came home after work today, was so hungry that i wanted to get something to eat. But what to eat at11.40pm? The only choice is to go out for those oily stuff again, aka "indian food / mamaking"

Since i had those most of the day daily for the past two weeks, i had to call it stop.

So when i got home, mom had already reserved a bowl of soup for me, all i gotta do was to warm it up! But since the bowl of soup is not filling enough, i wanted something more. Luckily i found some instant noodles, so i can make one and cooked it at home! Nothing is better than cooking at home! Besides i got my favorite curry flavor with me, Yum!

Then, Mom insisted to cook for me with a few prawns here and there.

I finished them within 15 minutes. Nice!! Thanks, mom...you are the kindest person when you're not at rage:).

I'm finally home! LOL. Yea its tuesday, been at bf's house yesterday cuz was just too lazy to drive home. I wanted to see him so we went out for a grab of snacks as we were both hungry for supper. Then i bought an ice-cream since it's been ages i last had one. Then, we went back to continue our series of movies via our little laptop. It's funny and ironical how we are doing these silly little things even though he should be catching up with his sleep. But ahh..life is short:P.

So now that i'm home, i'm still looking at the clothes which i bought two days back. DAMN, it was only around RM 15 / piece and there were just so many bloody people in the small tiny shop.

I'm glad that after a thorough search from the front to the back of the shop, i found two dresses / long shirt where you can actually wear with pants, and bought it for RM 30 and went straight to the ladies room to see if it fits. It fitted nicely and i smiled with complete satisfaction.

Then, i started regretting for not being a rich girl and all, LOL. Else, i would have bought everything that i came across with, and not being choosy and all.

Well, guess all that mattered is that i got something off-hand with a really cheap price and it's nice:). Cant wait to go back there, just to satisfy myself one last time...

Today i've decided to talk about life after marriage. I should pop the question about " Do you prefer life BEFORE or AFTER marriage?"

Most women will answer " before marriage is better."

WHY?

Answer : It is because men will not pay as much attention to the married wife after marriage. However, they will pay more attention to the kid. There will be no more time for shopping, no more time for kind-heartedness stuff and patience from the guys. Conclusion, men take women forgranted after they get married.

Thereafter comes the question, what is so special about getting married then??

Answer : You'll get to experience once in a lifetime thingy where they called it motherhood. They said having a kid can provide a lot of happiness and having a child is an experience that one can get. Alot of things, you cant control the way thing is or are.

So question, how do you determine when you have found the right person??

Answer : You dont have an answer for that. As long as time permits, focus on what's needed before priority is given to relationship. Getting married late these days is a common norm, and as long as it is before age 35, you are still safe.

*ROLLZ EYES*

Yea and now i'm talking like a desperado. Most of the Q&A above are real facts that i got from married mother okay.

That depends alot on your sole judgement.

I guess only time can tell....

I'm glad that it's finally Saturday, a get-away from all the hectic from work. It's drizzling outside now, wondering why is it raining at 11.45am in the morning!! There isnt much Sun since yesterday. Doesnt anyone think that there is something wrong with the world, and the weather? Human population are increasing, pollution comes automatically thereafter. Food, water, air, natural earth environment are being slaughtered to fulfill human's quest. Can anyone not deny that human is actually killing themselves slowly each day? I heard that there will be major disaster happening over the next 30-50 years, when all countries will practically be drowned, due to the massive melt of the icebergs from Atlanta. The atmosphere is really getting out of control:(.

There are more kids running around, and massive jam everyday, everywhere! Due to the cars tht each family own..Mother earth is bleeding, but nobody can hear her cry. HELPP, she's whispering silently, yearning slowly, dying as each day passes by.

**WARNING, LONG POST AHEAD**

A friend made me realise that i should go back scrambling upon the old pictures and letters that are piled up in dust about some sayings on "unrequitted love".

Recalling: The one i'm mentioning is a guy called Jeremy that i knew through ICQ 8 years back. I admit that i was only around 16 yrs old and wasnt even graduated from high school, see how the internet creeps people out? Anyway, the point is, i did somehow have a crush or infatuation over him. He was someone who is 2-3 years younger than me.

I was going through rough times, you know being a teenager and all and without a dad around, mom seems to be the one that went against everything, it's as if i'm being ignorant and wanted to run away from home. That is when i turned to internet and to strangers whom i thought they are the savers from the world, somebody else out there that i can turn to, to talk to, chat to, or listen to my rants.

So Jeremy came around, and he wasnt just any guy from the net. What made him so special was that, his English was absurd. I mean he writes really good stuff, way beyond his age that he's supposed to. I dont think thats due to the fact that he is from singapore but rather because he was a nerd? I dont know, he told me that he read lots, that's one of his way to spend his time when his mind wanders around, confused, and tired.

Okay, back to where i started, me and Jeremy used to write each other letters, like pen pals do. I remembered the first air mail that he sent me, and when i received it from the postman, i was so damn excited that i couldnt wait to tear it open and read the contents. While reading it, its as if i can feel his presence. Like he's there right in front of me, and he's real. Not just someone abstract over the net. It's bizarre but yes, ppl do fall in love over the net, dont they?

Sooo....

Looking back to a few of the air mails that he sent me, i found myself being brought back to years when i was still at ICQ being the naive and simple girl that i was. The date stated "2000", i cant believe it was 8 years back..Luckily the letter is still in good condition.

There.. is an address behind it though, but i doubt that he's still living at the same place, probably he has moved out.

Although we dont keep in touch anymore, i know that he is alive somewhere somehow out there. Hahah...

Going back to the topic on "unrequitted love".. i cant find it through the air mail, i just discovered that it was a saying that he told me during ICQ chat. I remembered so clearly because at that age i did not quite know what unrequitted was, so i looked it up in the dictionary for its meaning.

If i'm not wrong, i think what he told me was something like this... " Even if it means unrequitted love, it can keep you happy in a melancholic kinda way ".. I couldnt quite pull through what was the words in front of it, but the way he put it, it was just beautiful.

Ahhhhh... It's always nice to find something that you havent been noticing for a LONNGG time, esp since it's 8 years back !! I felt so relieved...as if i have found part of myself, whom i was back then...

Weakness

tempted by the seductiveness,
drowned by the innocence,
blinded by the unconsciousness,
darkened by the wounded tears,
one is willing to give into weakness,
that succumb you into a whirlwind of chaos.

denying the miserable truth,
trying to live with what's gone,
finding ways to a sane heart,
as long as there is a wherewithal to move on.

but who said time will heal?

as when weakness defeats you,
deceived heart is back for vengeance.

it slaughters your sanity,
it kills your conscience,
it takes you through a hurricane,
lands you on a broken runway,
with dreadful sorrows that one does not intend to remember,
and fails to forget.
